3) DA CYBER CHRONICLES

In episode #12 of Everything's Gonna Be Alright: Clemson and Cadu hang out
for a little sisterly bonding about the men in their lives...

NOW, in episode #13: Kat, once again, tries to belittle Clemson in front of
Tre, but Clemson lets Kat know what's up; Randi decides to put her all into
her relationship with the older Max, but a chance meeting between her and
Dru...and his date leaves Randi feeling jealous.

::Excerpt::

When Max came home last night, Randi made sure he knew how much he meant
to her. She had a light dinner prepared, soft music, but Max was more
interested in what Randi was wearing, or her lack of clothing. She greeted
him in a black sheer negligee, something she had picked up after her talk with
Clemson. Randi wasn’t even sure she was going to wear it, but as the day wore
on, she knew she had to make a statement.

And she did. Max quickly took Randi into the bedroom and they made love for
what seemed like an eternity. Max kissed Randi in every place he could think
of, touching her, holding her, making her feel things that she never felt before.
She couldn’t remember who moaned more, she or Max. Her body had never
been given the attention it was given last night, and she felt totally satisfied
afterwards.

But one thing managed to creep into her beautiful night of lovemaking with
Max. A tear. A stream of tears to be exact. Max had looked into Randi’s
eyes and noticed that she was crying. He was so worried he had hurt her
and when he asked what was wrong, she mumbled something about emotions
and being a woman and being so high on what just happened between them.

She kept the truth to herself. Through the most romantic night of her
life, the one time she felt so alive that every cell in her body danced with
pleasure, she was thinking about Dru and wishing that it was he who was
giving her this pleasure. How sick was she to think about Dru while making
love to Maxwell?

Randi thought about that now as she and Max walked along the water hand in
hand.

“What’s wrong, baby?” Maxwell asked, looking at Randi’s face. “Nothing,”
she answered, washing the look off her face and replacing it with a smile.
“Not important.” They stopped to look out at the water. Randi closed her
eyes as Max walked behind her, softly snuggling his body up to her, wrapping
his arms around her waist.

4) THE POETRY CORNER

@ The Poetry Corner, help us welcome a poet whose name belies the deep
penetrations and rhythms that his poetry evokes: UNKNOWN SILENCE!

When asked, "When did you first begin to enjoy the art of writing," Unknown
Silence replied: When I began, IN JOY, to enjoy the art of living. I've lived in
a world of self-created pain for lifetimes where I didn't understand it all and
it didn't make sense. Living and receiving the wisdom of my soul-journeys
has helped me realize that flowers blossom after the struggle through the soil.
There's a perfection in the process, a sweetness in the pain, and meaning in the
moments that eventually sculpt masterpieces. With this innerstanding and
awareness, I can now dive into a sharp pen without fear and become the "sweet"
scars carved on the skin of virgin parchment for others to caress. Yet, it is now
—always now— that I begin, over and over, to enjoy the art of writing.

Corner!

6) THE WRITE LIFE

In her latest THE WRITE LIFE article, Shon Bacon talks about how writers
need to FIND THE TIME TO WRITE!

::EXCERPT::

In late 2003, I was in a quandary. I was in my final year of an MFA program.
I was a graduate teacher. I was an editor. I was owner of an online magazine.
I was helping to develop academic textbooks. I was a long-distant friend and
sister, which meant I sent money I often didn’t have and spent long hours on
the phone helping and dealing with my loved ones’ issues. I was a million other
things, too.

The quandary?

I couldn’t find time to write. Before this moment, I was one of the students
who always had an arsenal of work at the ready for fiction workshop. Now
that I had a 200+-paged thesis due a few months into 2004, it became hard
for me to find the time to write. When I told my fiction professor, he said,
“If you can’t find the time now to write, you won’t find the time to write when
you graduate.” I laughed. At the time, I thought, “When will I ever be ALL of
these things…at once…again?”
