NanoWrimo Champ in the House

Yes, I did it, and I'm super geeked to tell you that I have hit the 50k mark on NanoWrimo!

It was scary this week because I worked like a fiend over Thanksgiving break, and then heading into this week, I caught a bout of the writerly blues.

Thanks to two author friends, my girl Karamel Brown and my latest bud Samara King, who gave me YOU CAN DO IT pep talks, I jumped back on the laptop and did my thing.

Now that I'm officially over the NW hump - to a tune of 51,058 words, it's on to keep the momentum going and FINISH the novel!
